Assistant Foreign Minister visits UNDP Premises: Egypt and UNDP working together for Egypt Vision 2030

Egypt Vision 2030 constitutes the basis for development partnership between Egypt and its United Nations partner. Egypt’s relations with UNDP has been developing positively for decades. On August 11th, 2016 the United Nations Resident Coordinator and UNDP’s Resident Representative a.i. El-Mostafa Benlamlih received Ambassador Sherif Refaat; Assistant Foreign Minister for International Cooperation for Development at UNDP’s newly inaugurated office in Cairo.

During the visit, the two sides discussed the strong cooperation between Egypt and UNDP as well as the potential areas for partnership in the future. In their meeting, they stressed the importance of this partnership and stressed their continued willingness to continuing their efforts to see the Egypt 2030 a reality.
