Cleanup Wadi Degla Protected Area with UNDP, Al Masry Al Youm Newspaper, Omar Samra and Wild Guanabana

The United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) in partnership with Al Masry Al Youm Newspaper, Omar Samra, first Egyptian to climb mountain Everest, adventurer and entrepreneur, and Wild Guanabana are proud to launch a campaign that aims to raise environmental awareness, collective responsibility towards protection of natural environment, promotion of eco-tourism and exploration of Egypt’s beautiful natural resources.

The campaign "Discover Egypt" starts with a cleanup in Wadi Degla protectorate this Friday 18th of December led by Omar Samra along with public figures, artists, Egyptian entrepreneurs and volunteers.

UNDP joins the campaign as part of its support to the Egyptian protected areas and the promotion of sustainable development that links environment conservation and sustainable use of natural resources.
